Coming this Fall - Liberated on AFOXNBS

Just in time for the presidential political season, comes a new show "Liberated" on AFOXNBS September 15.

Similar to the hit "Victory" which has been running now since 2003, Liberated will focus on the zany antics of three soldiers and a festive Iraqi family living. Mahmoud, who plays "Ali" the father of the show says that Liberated is "a great family show, good for all ages." In the first episode, the Hamajan family shows what it's like when they unexpected encounter U.S. marines in their home - at night.

While Shira, the 13-year-old daughter makes google eyes at the young grunts, her mother goes frantic trying to make tea for her visiters. The plot has some unexpected twists for this Haditha family. You'll see their neighbors reactions when the Hamajan's decide to build a swimming pool with money they "unexpectedly" found.

This television program is sure to be a blockbuster for AFOXNBS and will join the ranks of the right-wing programming that is saturating American airwaves. Be sure to watch! Just Kidding

Catching up to McDonalds?

McDonald's is one of the most prolific restaurant franchisers in the world with locations in over 100 countries and terrotories. But, the U.S. military is quickly catching up.

The U.S. military is comprised of 1.5 million personnel in uniform and operates 700 bases and facilities throughout the world. But, unlike McDonalds, the military often doesn't do so well when it comes to providing food and services.

After almost four years in Iraq - the former "fertile crescent" of the Middle East - children are dying of starvation and disease. "1 in 3 children are malnourished and underweight," according to a May 2006 report by UNICEF. The United Nations World Food Program indicates that Iraq continues to import 3 million tons of wheat to supplement food shortages.

"I'm lovin' it" is the current slogan for McDonalds. With the Army in charge, Iraqis aren't. Just Kidding

The price of liberty in Iraq: 650,000

Bombs bursting in air, is a common element of Iraq today as they celebrate almost 4 years of U.S. liberation. "Thing are very good, very good," said one Iraqi man recently. "There is a curfew now, nobody leaves their homes after 7 or 8 pm, but now we have more time to spend with our families."

Two hundred years after framers of the Declaration of Independence in the U.S. threw out a despotic ruler, America is intent on re-enacting history...from the other side. Not content with their oath to defend the U.S. Constitution, Army soldiers find themselves in Iraq and Afghanistan writing new constitutions for those countries.

"I'm proud to be defending a flag of red, white, and black with arabic lettering," said Cpl. Silas Debunsky. Iraqis are glad for the U.S. presence as well.

"It's great to have such liberty," said one Iraqi as he lay dying on a bed in the al-Yarmuk Hospital in Baghdad. An estimated 650,000 Iraqis have been likewise "liberated" since the U.S. invasion began in March, 2003. Just Kidding
